A little more about me
I didn't always know I wanted to be a designer. I have always been an artist (drawing and painting) and I knew I wanted to do something in the art field. I had a lot of exposure to art and artists in high school. However, I was afraid to make that first leap. "Starving artist" did not sound very appealing to me. Plus, no one in my family wanted me to go to art school. So, I decided to go to a junior college to take all my general classes first until I figured out what I wanted to do. After some research, I stumbled upon graphic design. It combined all that I had a love for: art, communication, technology and business. I earned a bachelor’s of fine art in graphic design from Columbia College Chicago. Moving forward, I’m living my passion each and every day. I'm also grateful to have a loving, supportive husband and two beautiful children.
